MEANDERS

What if exploring an abandoned place allowed
to better explore a neural mechanism?
A documentary web series between urbex and neuroscience.

Production: Studio Good to Know

Méandres is the documentary web series that will make you discover abandoned places and learn more about your brain. Here, the experience is very new: popular science writers engage in urban exploration (also called urbex for Urban Exploration) in order to undergo experiments illustrating real laboratory research. These explorers will serve as guinea pigs to observe the effects of memories, fear of the dark, the unknown or even beliefs on our behavior.

Guests: Léa Bello, Marie Treibert, Elodie Chabrol, Sebastien Carassou
Scientific advisors: Maëlle Moranges, Lucile Rey, Marion Rouault, Valentin Wyart

Saison 1
Session live

For the occasion, Youenn - also composer of the series' music - wrote five new pieces to open the events. Following the release of the series, the Explorers team set off on another expedition to shoot a filmed version of this music directly at the source of what inspired them, in the heart of abandoned places.
